    yeah sahar
the violent and little savage young middle class seeking public execution of culprits, they may be right since public trust on state institutions has vaporized owing to not speedy justice and farce inquiry committees.

Hmmm..I wonder whats wrong with the picture. Since you have cleverly used the caption’what’s wrong with the picture’.People will try their level best to pinpoint the wrong in it by hook or by crook. A nice way of bringing out the negativity of minds.
I guess i aint clever enough to figure it out, so i will be honest here.I dont find anything wrong with the picture. All i see is a group of youngsters holding postcards in a peaceful demonstration demanding justice for the martyred brothers Mughees and muneeb. If its the misspellings as pinpointed by someone here, i think that hardly matters.

If someone has an issue with the fact that they are demanding that same treatment be meted out to the criminals, well there’s nothing wrong with demanding that either. Even our religion Islam permits it. Below are references from the Quran as well as the Hadeeth.

“And if ye punish, then punish as ye were punished (by them). But if ye show patience, that is indeed the best (course) For those who are patient. (The Noble Quran, 16:126)”

“And if ye do catch them out, Catch them out no worse Than they catch you out: But if ye show patience, that is indeed the best (course) For those who are patient. (The Noble Quran, 16:126)”

Narrated Anas: “The Prophet said, “The prescribed Law of Allah is the equality in punishment (i.e. Al-Qisas).” (In cases of murders, etc.) (Translation of Sahih Bukhari, Prophetic Commentary on the Qur’an (Tafseer of the Prophet (pbuh)), Volume 6, Book 60, Number 26)”

Whats praiseworthy is the fact that a few youngsters took the initiative to highlight the case and had peaceful protests arranged in various cities of Pakistan.I salute these youngsters who have managed to leave the comfort of their homes and stood up for justice in this blistering heat. Come on Ms .Sehr give them their due credit instead of finding whats wrong with the picture. They are way better than the PRIVILEDGED youngsters who danced in the streets and malls of Lahore to the beat of Coca Cola jingles.

They are way better than you and I who just rant and rave. They have shown us a ray of hope that the youth of this nation is not sleeping and will stand up for a just cause. And has proven to people like me that an act of few Pakistani savages doesnt make all Pakistanis bad.

That is what my limited intelligence tells me about this picture. What brews in your mind is something you know better.May Allah give us the wisdom to appreciate the rights in every wrong rather than vice versa.
